Gold '07 Cadillac Escalade - Gold Rides - by Hot Wheels

The 2007 batch of Gold Rides from Hot Wheels included the Cadillac  Escalade - and they must have loved to work with all that gold paint! The full collection contained a new model for every month of the year.  Look for;

If you go to the hotwheels.com website you will find some interesting interactive activities to do there. You can play some cool games, get some posters to download and print for yourself, and you can check out all the current Hot Wheels. (There were more than I could count!)

To commemorate the one billionth Hot Wheels car produced in 1990 a series of gold-coloured Corvettes were manufactured.

I find that a little odd, as I haven't noticed a gold Corvette yet in Tom's collection, though there are quite a few of the larger model Corvettes, none like these shiny gold Escalades yet. I have found multiples of these gold Cadillac Escalades. Maybe that was a very short run on the gold Coverttes; do you think?

These Gold Rides painted in a shiny Celebratory gold colour must have been very popular and sold well, for it is still possible to find these for sale on various sites, including eBay, and amazon. Oddly enough, the prices range all the way from $3 to $30.

Tom had two of this particular model. So I'm pricing them at $8.00 each, or $10.00 for the two together.

I have two of this exact model and each is as good as new, with unbroken blister packs. $18.00 for one. You may have both for $30.00

P.S. Check around for the other 2 metallic grey Cadillac Escalades. They are from the 2003 First Editions 40/42 collections.
