These older Cadillacs are jaw droppers if we see a model that is all shiny new. They have a fascinating history. For instance, the V-16, or Cadillac Sixteen was their top model from the time it was launched in January 1930 until about 1940. This was a first in the USA - ever so expensive and exclusive!
Imagine - every chassis was custom-finished to the customer's order. Of course, at that pace, it is no wonder they only made 4,076 in 11 years. Then the Great Depression hit, and as World War II started, sales fell drastically and they were no longer made.

My brother had just this one model and it appears to have been stroked and admired many times by various fingers. Newer, smartly-protected models are selling for $100-200, but it seems only fair to sell this one as an unboxed toy - yet, I think it would also qualify as one of Tom's Favs.
