STX450 Case IH 4WD AccuSteer 3-point-hitch PTO

These Steiger monster tractors come with a choice of either 4 wheel drive or "quads" which are more like three smaller metal wheels wrapped by a very strong belt with a tread, so the tractor operates almost like a caterpillar, or other larger road-building machinery.

Not being a farmer I can only assume that these quad treads can keep a tractor from getting stuck in muddy sloughs and hollows in their fields, where tires would usually just spin and spin. A farmer likely keeps the types of fields he has to work in mind when buying a new tractor.

If you are retired, you can probably line up a row of model tractors to represent the various types you have worked with over the decades. Maybe this STX450 Case International Harvester AccuSteer with a 3-point-hitch and PTO was your favourite. This particular model is unboxed, but perfectly clean and new in every aspect.
