Johnny Lightning 35th Anniversary SS 1993 Navy-Black Camaro Coupe is part of one of several sets of six Camaros to celebrate this anniversary. (I have 3 incomplete sets of six – so far).

This, of course, is in an unopened, undamaged blister pack – in the 1:64 scale. Just what you are looking for if you are an adult collector.

Did you know there is a Johnny Lightning Collector’s Club? The owner, Tom Lowe explains in this YouTube video what you can get for the Silver or Gold level membership. I’ve also found that there is a website with some good history of the Johnny Lightning company, and how when the Johnny Lightning brand name disappeared for about 23 years, Tom Lowe stepped in to revive it, and continued to produce more diecast models. In fact, they were of better quality then before! Check it out here.

The back of the info card invites collectors to join a Collector’s Club, but I’m not sure if that’s the same one that Tom Lowe runs now. The photos on the back show the models displayed in an elegant tin box. (Tom, my brother, had two of those – one is sold), but in the YouTube video mentioned above, Tom Lowe, shows the membership sets as in a large black cardboard box with a snapping magnet lid. There are extras besides a model in those boxes.

Each Info-card on the back, shows the list of six Camaro models of which this is one model. (Sorting the models at hand right now, I find I have three incomplete sets – though there may be more in storage – and one with a different list, so there must be 4 sets of six Camaro models. Good news for those who love Camaros, eh?
